Equipped with Nikon 50mm f/1.4

I am a fan of  prime lenses despite having a set of “Holy Trinity”.  Last weekend I decided to bring the 50mm f/1.4 only. While it is not a wide lens, it does give a nice ‘isolation' to the images (tighter angle of view). It is small (52 mm) and light weight (230g) which makes the camera less loaded at the front.

I hope to add more primes like the 24mm f/2.8 to my collection very soon.

Do you think 24mm f2.8 would be a bit duplicated if you own both 14-24 & 24-70 f2.8? I own 20mm but it's too wide sometime. I think 24mm is a great angle of view!

The 24mm is used for a different purpose. It is mainly for travel where I dont want to carry the big 24-70mm. I actually thought the 24mm is not wide enough, so I am more interested in the 20mm now. 20mm f2.8 is very nice wide angle with not much distortion compare to zoom counterpart. If you have wide angle subject, I think it's worth to get than 24mm

Still struggling whether to choose 20mm or 24mm, but i thought the 20mm can be the lite version of 14-24mm and the 50mm can be the lite version of 24-70mm.
Then I can just carry the 20mm and 50mm if I dont want to carry any zoom, but I am worrying it is not suitable for shooting people.

Exactly! That's why I pend my purchase of 14-24 because I got 20 already and which is wide enough for most time for me. For shooting people, I would add 85 f1.8 or 1.4. I own 50 f1.4 also but honestly I'm not a 50mm shooter.
